Fictional Interlude

Fictional Interlude

Somewhere on the Astral Plane, within the Plane of Creation; there exists a Fictional World where Faeries live human lives, the dead walk, and Shapeshifters protect the environment. In this Fictional World, we fade in upon The Blue Gator Café; a Faery run coffee shop, set in the Canadian city of Kelowna, BC.
If this were the real world, we’d be standing within the confines of a Starbucks. But, because this isn’t the real world; it is in fact, The Blue Gator. The Blue Gator is an international Coffee chain which was originally owned by the Fergus family of Ireland; but which is now run by a vast, corporate conglomerate of Faery and Vampire owned companies, known as Teltec.
The business began as a Tavern in County Cork, Ireland; in 1868. This first location is surrounded in the Otherworld by a Faery Market. The Fergus family, whom were Sidhe; still owned the Tavern, but had turned the Market over to Teltec; whom had built a three story mall upon the land which held the Market.
Meanwhile, back in Kelowna; Reanna, a Leannan Sidhe was manning the Till. She turned her head to watch as her friend Rojere strolled into the Blue Gator. Rojere, a swarthy young man of middle-eastern appearance, was actually of Fomorian descent. Reanna watched with interest as Rojere plopped a videocamera atop the counter.
“What have you got there?” She asked with interest.
To this, Rojere proceeded to explain how the very inocuous-looking videocamera was actually an ingenious piece of Faery craft which was designed to capture images from within the Spiritual Realms. Rojere went on to detail how he planned to create a Documentary to show the Mundane World what the Otherworld truly looked like.

End of Fictional Interlude.
